When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave our facilities, they’re fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.

Our Mission
Smiles Learning Center welcomes children of all abilities. The mission of Smiles Learning Center is to provide a safe, inclusive, and developmentally sound environment for infants through 5-year-old that promotes a play-based learning program. The environment will reflect the interests of the children, their primary language and cultural background. Through thoughtfully designed, developmentally appropriate, and age-appropriate activities, our goal is to nurture the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical aspects of each child.
Smiles Learning Center will utilize the Creative Curriculum for its education program. This curriculum is approved by the MSDE,. The creative curriculum aligns with the philosophy of Smiles Learning Center in that it promotes curiosity through having children interact with people, objects, and nature in both care-giving and free play environments.
The Creative Curriculum is a theory-based curriculum that provides a basic structure for a developmentally appropriate program. The curriculum focuses on the environment because young children learn best through active interactions with their physical and social environments. By continuously changing and enriching the environment, teachers can support learning and creativity in children.
